The release of Dunki also marks the kick- off of the important-awaited box office showdown in the country, wherein the SRK film will clash with Prashanth Neel’s Prabhas- starrer Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire. While Dunki, a comedy- drama, has formerly grossed Rs11.46 crore from advance bookings, Salaar’s Day 1 business has reached Rs18.54 crore withpre-sales, as reported by industry tracer Sacnilk. Dunki is available only in Hindi Unlike Salaar, which is being released in multiple languages. Ahead of Dunki’s release, Shah Rukh Khan was lately seen promoting the film in Dubai. Several videos, which surfaced on SRK’s fan clubs on social media, has the actor recreating his signature act with his arms stretched out in the air during the drone show in Dubai. Shah Rukh Khan was dressed in a black ensemble, paired with a red jacket as he was seen in a boat in Burj Lake. Along with SRK, the film’s director Raj Hirani, and writer Abhijat Joshi were present at the promotional event.
